| The Body of Christ Under Attack |

John Paul II, at the time he was Karol Cardinal Wojtyla, visited the U.S. in September 1976. He made this prophetic statement:
WHY IS THE BODY OF CHRIST THE PRIME TARGET OF SATAN’S STRATEGIC OFFENSIVE ATTACKS? The Cross has become the symbol of the victory of the Lamb and through his Cross, Jesus will draw all things to himself. This is the tactical principle of turning the tables against the enemy. Satan thought he won by default, by seducing Judas to have Jesus murdered. Because Jesus was crucified, Jesus turned the cross against Satan. This is God’s magnanimity. In fact, it was said that while heaven was in disarray because of the war between Michael’s angels and Lucifer’s, God was at the same time creating the universe. But the devil has weapons and tactics available to him. His supernatural powers still remained intact except his power to love. You must never underestimate the devil either. He is going to make his tactical moves the way he did with Eve. But it’s OK, relax. It’s an old trick. We have an idea how he did it.The Economic and the Devil’s slogan is: “Cut the Supply Line!" By the way, please remember that we are the devil’s enemies, so the front work of the devil is to dislodge us, his enemies. To weaken the enemy, that is, us, is to weaken our bellies, since the belly is the source of our strength (storage of food) and source of war reserves (hub of army supply and personnel). The second thing that the Devil does is to attack the warriors and personnel brigades through abortion, euthanasia, medical assisted suicide, contraception, etc. The Evil One’s operational tactic is quite clear. It’s an operation blockade and operation kill! Did you ever wonder why fewer people are receiving the Holy Eucharist? Did you ever wonder why there are more than 4,000 babies being aborted every day? Did it ever occur to you that they are related to one another?
Each of them is an affront by the devil to weaken and kill the Church, the Body of Christ. By the unbelief of the real presence of Jesus in the Holy Eucharist, God is being denied belief in the Incarnation. Remember, the Mass is a continuing work of Incarnation.
Families cannot even settle their problems at home anymore. They have to solve these problems in court. Hence, law is a big professional business in the U.S. According to statistics, there are more lawyers in the U.S. than in all other nations combined. The devil uses cultural, public relations and educational technology as his Demonic Evangelization tool. Satan’s Evangelization slogan is: “Distort Communication and Images.” Communication is the machinery that Satan uses to sway public opinion and educate us in the ways of evil and the world through the Internet, TV, cinema and magazines. Satan knows that you desire what you see. Most of our children make their moral decisions, not based on their faith or religion, but based on what they see on the Internet, TV and magazines. Satan works through the influence of the mind. This is one of the ways he seduces and lures us. His tactic of infestation, temptation, contamination, oppression, obsession and, God forbid, possession is in place. During one of the Halloween shows, I saw an image of the devil right smack at the center stage of a popular family-oriented TV show. Parents parade their children in the streets on Halloween night with costumes emblazoned by the devil’s face and symbols. Many say "it's harmless." If it's harmless why do parents have to guard their children as they travel around the neighborhood and have their "treats" x-rayed? No one remembers anymore that All Hallow’s Eve is a Christian celebration. You’d better believe it. Satan has a high-level propaganda machine. He gives importance to develop and use technology to his advantage. In recent years the big news was the Harry Potter movies and books. Parents fell into the trap of bringing their children and families to see these witchcraft movies for reasons of entertainment, which, incidentally, grossed billions of dollars. Young people spent all night in line to be first to purchase the books, with the approval of their parents. Satan hates the evangelization work of the Church. But there's Good News. The renewed enthusiasm among faithful Christians has been gaining momentum, especially among small faith communities around the world. D – The Devil and The Ideological Front In the ideological combat, the devil’s aim is to: “Poison the Minds.” Ideological infiltration is a tactic by the devil to sow confusion in society and, especially the Church. We are facing a mega seduction, maybe even greater than the temptation experienced by Adam and Eve in the big fall. The fall of Adam and Eve was characterized by their non-acceptance of humanity and human limitations; they wanted to become like God. The current character of this present age is the temptation to believe that man can become fully himself without God. It is the temptation of the 6,6,6, (Rev. 13:18) which was described as man’s fullness of himself. It is the radical denial and rejection of the number 7, a Greek symbol of wisdom, which denotes the end of man, man’s fullness in God’s grace. With the advance of science and technology a myth is circulating that man can save himself all by himself. Satan attacks the mind. Atheism, Modernism and Secular Humanism are the most common ideological tenets of the century. Atheism says there is no God. The masses of people are the gods. Moderism says that what counts is reason – the mind. Whatever is old is to be rejected. Secular Humanism says only man can save himself. Man can build this world without God. Would you, as Christian, welcome a satanic ploy of confusion to incrimate our families and churches? I don’t think so.
E – The Devil and the Spiritual Front Spiritual infiltration is real. I remember those times when there was an exodus of Christians going to India to learn transcendental meditation, new age prayer, new age programs in holistic health, psychology, management and spirituality. People are seeking alternatives. They also go to Satanic churches and practice occultism. There are false prophets, false teachers and false evangelists everywhere. There are false contemplatives and false mystics that have infiltrated Christian schools of spirituality. Where do people go to seek alternatives for solutions to their problems in life? In a nutshell, in the city of lies and deception. The Catechism of the Catholic Church says all forms of divination are to be rejected: recourse to Satan or demons, conjuring up the dead or other practices falsely supposed to “unveil” the future. (Deut 18:10; Jer 29:8) Consulting horoscopes, astrology, palm reading, interpretation of omens and lots, the phenomena of clairvoyance, and recourse to mediums, all conceal a desire for power over time, history, and in the last analysis, other human beings, as well as a wish to conciliate hidden powers. They contradict the honor, respect and loving fear that we owe to God alone (CCC #2116). All practices of magic or sorcery, by which one attempts to tame occult powers, so as to place them at one’s service and have a supernatural power over others, even if this were for the sake of restoring their health, are gravely contrary to the virtue of religion. These practices are even more to be condemned when accompanied by the intention of harming someone, or when they have recourse to the intervention of demons. Wearing charms is also reprehensible. Spiritism often implies divinations or magical practices; the Church for her part warns the faithful against it. Recourse to so-called traditional cures does not justify either the invocation of evil powers or the exploitation of another’s credulity. (CCC #2117). Hmmm, the Church has spoken, indeed! |
